I cant get my threaded 0 gauge plug in?
Yesterday I stretched my ear 2 ga. to 0 ga. with a stainless steel taper. had no problem getting the taper through. BUT, i cant get the plug to go through. its a stainless steel threaded screwback tunnel. i tried 5 times on my left ear and twice on my right ear. neither of them would let the plug go through, my left ear started getting a little sore so i decided to stop. I've never had any problems before getting the plug through. this really upset me because this is the size that i wanted to get to. please any suggestions or solutions would be a great help!
Answer:
Is the threading smaller than the barrel of the taper? If so, that's what's causing the problem. You might try wearing the taper for a couple of days to allow the earlobe to heal a bit; that way, it won't be so prone to shrinking immediately as the threads pass through.
