Power Chucks
Many manufacturers and other businesses use commercial grade drilling equipment. Power chucks are an important purchase as these are the mechanisms that hold the drill bit in place securely whilst the machine is operating.
The capacity of power chucks will dictate the size of the drill bit (or other accessories) that the machine can take. This means you may need to invest in a variety of power chucks in order to maximise your drilling capabilities.
Choosing Commercial Drills and Power Chucks
When you are choosing which equipment to invest in you will need to consider your business need first. Commercial drills are expensive items but will last a long time if looked after properly. You cannot afford to hold back when investing in essential equipment such as drills, power chucks and bits. This equipment has to stand up to heavy and continuous usage as part of project work. It needs to be reliable so that you do not face any delays waiting for repairs or replacements.
Only use reliable suppliers when buying essential equipment such as commercial drills and stick to the brand names that have built up a good reputation.
Gearing
This is a key element when buying commercial grade drills. Gearing provides the power transfer from the machine motor to the power chucks and drill bits. One gear set ups may be adequate for domestic drilling but commercial machines will require much more complex systems. This will allow the machine power to be transferred from the engine for heavy duty drilling. Commercial drills will have a number of torque settings (the twisting force) which enable the operator to control the speed and stability of the drill process. A reverse gear is also essential in commercial drilling on order to undo drilled components or free the drill bits if they become stuck.
Speed
The speed of drill machine is typically measured in revolutions per minute (RPM). Commercial drills will have variable speeds so that a wide range of different surfaces can be worked on successfully. Tackling drilling work generally requires a steady build-up of speed. The initial hole will be prepared with a slow speed action then gradually the speed will be built up to a more effective drilling ratio. Commercial drills require durable power chucks, drills and other components in order to stand up to high speed drilling. These drills will also have ‘fast stop' actions which are a vital way to prevent damage to the machinery of the surface that is being drilled in an emergency situation.
Additional Actions
Commercial drills will typically have a selection of additional actions designed for tackling a wider range of surfaces. This includes a hammer action for drilling into tougher and denser surfaces. These additional actions require different sets of power chucks and attachments (specially toughened in some cases with materials such as tungsten carbide).

Frequently Asked Questions...
What is the difference between these Reloading dies?
In Lee brand for rifle caliber i found two types of dies which is Pacesetter dies and deluxe rifle sizing dies and in this pacesetter dies it has crimp die where as deluxe die set got collet die.Crimp die is to crimp the case to hold the bullet tighter then what does collet die actually does?I'm trying to load .22 hornet,7mm rem mag and 30-06 cases so what should i pick or do i need to buy both pacesetter and deluxe dies since one die is separate among each other ?I'm at the last stage to get into reloading so need reloader's suggestion.Thanks.
Answer:
The collet die is used to resize just the neck of your cartridge. This is used primarily with bolt action rifles, for accuracy, where the fired brass is formed to that rifle and only the neck needs worked to load a new bullet. Collet dies should never be used to load for any thing but a bolt or single shot rifle. Even then you have to keep the brass sorted between rifles if you have two chamber for that cartridge. Even though you are neck sizing, for accuracy you will still need to full length size the casings from time to time, so that is why they include the full length die and because your not loading them in to a tube magazine or subjecting them to semi auto action you don't/won't need a heavy crimp.
Lee Crimp dies are sold by themselves if you think you need them. If your using a semi auto or will be roughly handling your cases this is a must and use the full length size die.
I tend to buy the Lee Pacesetter dies myself. It has all I need most of the time. I did however buy a Deluxe rifle die set for my .303 British SMLE so I could neck size the cartridges because the .303 head space is very hard on cases and shortens their life span. I did go ahead and buy a crimp die if I'd ever need it.
