Why does the bottom half of my computer screen always freeze up?
Lately the bottom half of my computer screen (Dell XP Notebook- Inspiron 6000) freezes up and sometimes turns weird colors, gets blurry or even black and I just cant do anything on the bottom half of my computer. Sometimes when I would give it a little tap at the bottom by the battery or the screen it would go away for awhile but lately its gettin worse. It never goes away now. It just turns more colors. I use my computer everyday for school purposes so I need help. What can it be? Could it be just the screen, battery, media on my computer. VIRUS? I have a virus protection. sounds like a problem with the ribon cable connecting the gpu to the lcd, or a problem with the gpu itseld. i wouldnt recomnd tryiong to fix it yourself.
