The unit size is 1-1/2 ton. You would be better off to change the whole condensing unit instead of just the compressor. The new unit will run more efficiently and the cost isn't that much more.
You will need to have someone from the HVAC industry help you replace the unit. This is not something that can be done by a DIY'er
