Frequently Asked Questions...
My tstat has C, G, Y, O/B, RC, R, W2, Y2 slots. Have 2 green, 2 white, 1 red wires. Which wire to which slot? ?
My tstat is a Honeywell TRH7000. I have hot water baseboard, and central AC. The central AC worked fine all summer and the boiler kicks on BUT not the circulating pumps (have three zones, and no pumps turn on, but boiler turns on when calling for heat). The way my installer left my tstat connection is as follows:
Bigger green wire to "G".
Bigger white wire to "Y".
Bigger red wire to "RC".
The remaining two wires (green and white) are part of a bundled set (with a red wire coiled around them and not in use, nor was it w/ our prior H'well stat) are to "R" and "W" respectively.
Something may be wrong with my connections. BUT note my two other zone stats haven't been changed so not sure why those zones wouldn't be triggering the pumps... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
